Terms of Service

Komando — Last updated: 19 October 2026

Please read these Terms carefully before using the Komando application. By downloading, installing, accessing, or using the App, you confirm that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Terms of Service and our End User License Agreement (EULA). If you do not agree, you must not use Komando.

1 About Komando

Komando is a platform that connects content creators and influencers (“Creators”) with local businesses and venues (“Businesses”). A collaboration can be an experience in exchange for content, or a paid collaboration when the creator has said that content is paid.

Use of the platform is currently free for users. Komando does not charge a commission on a collaboration. Any fee for a paid collaboration is agreed and paid between the business and the creator. Komando does not collect, hold, or pay that fee.

Komando is operated by Komando SAS, based in France. By accessing or using the App, you agree to these Terms and our Privacy Policy.

2 End User License Agreement (EULA)

This section constitutes the End User License Agreement between you and Komando, as required by Apple’s App Store guidelines.

License Grant

Subject to your compliance with these Terms, Komando grants you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to download and use the App on any Apple-branded device that you own or control, solely for your personal or internal business use, as permitted by the App Store Terms of Service.

Scope of License

You may not:

Apple as Third-Party Beneficiary

You acknowledge and agree that Apple, Inc. is a third-party beneficiary of this EULA and will have the right (and will be deemed to have accepted the right) to enforce this EULA against you as a third-party beneficiary thereof. Apple has no obligation whatsoever to furnish any maintenance or support services with respect to the App.

Maintenance and Support

Komando is solely responsible for providing maintenance and support for the App. Apple has no obligation to provide any such maintenance or support. Contact us at support@komando.app for any App-related support.

Product Claims

Komando, not Apple, is responsible for addressing any claims by you or any third party relating to the App or your possession and/or use of the App, including but not limited to: (i) product liability claims; (ii) any claim that the App fails to conform to any applicable legal or regulatory requirement; and (iii) claims arising under consumer protection or similar legislation.

Intellectual Property Infringement

In the event of any third-party claim that the App or your possession and use of the App infringes that third party’s intellectual property rights, Komando will be solely responsible for the investigation, defense, settlement, and discharge of such a claim.

3 Eligibility

To use Komando, you must:

Komando reserves the right to approve or reject any account at its sole discretion. Accounts created by individuals under 18 will be immediately terminated upon discovery.

4 Account Registration

You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials. You agree to notify us immediately at support@komando.app if you suspect unauthorized use of your account.

You may not create multiple accounts, impersonate another person, or provide false information. Komando reserves the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms.

5 Collaborations and Bookings

Komando facilitates, but is not a party to, collaborations between Creators and Businesses. Collaboration terms are agreed upon between the two parties.

Creator obligations

Business obligations

Content published as part of a collaboration must show the creator’s actual visit: several shots (food, the room or terrace, and the experience) and the creator’s voice (voice-over or talking to camera). A single clip of the venue with only a soundtrack does not meet this standard. The business may refuse to verify content that does not meet it. Komando may warn or terminate the creator’s account if this happens repeatedly.

If a creator consumes goods or services provided by a business as part of a collaboration and then (a) fails to create and publish the agreed content, or (b) publishes content that is harmful, defamatory, or otherwise negative toward that business, the creator agrees to pay the business the full retail price of what was consumed. That payment is owed to the business, not to Komando. Komando may suspend or terminate the creator’s account, and does not collect or enforce the payment.

6 Creator directory and paid collaborations

A business can discover creators and send a collaboration request directly. In the app, you choose which content types you offer for free and which you offer for a fee, and you may set a starting price. Until you do, you are not listed for these direct requests.

The business may propose the visit and a fee in the conversation. You and the business each confirm those terms in the app. Any fee is agreed between you and the business. Komando records the agreement and does not collect, hold, or pay the fee. Komando is not a party to that payment.

You can ask us to hide your directory profile by emailing support@komando.app.

7 Drop In Feature

The “Drop In” feature allows Creators to visit a venue without a prior booking using a one-time 6-digit code. By using this feature, the Creator confirms they meet the content requirements of the associated offer and agrees to publish the required content within 24 hours of validation.

8 Prohibited Activities

When using Komando, you agree not to:

9 Objectionable Content & Abusive Users

10 Content and Intellectual Property

Content you post on social media as part of a collaboration remains your intellectual property. By using Komando, you grant us a non-exclusive, royalty-free license to display your public profile information and published content thumbnails within the platform for the purpose of verifying collaboration completion.

You may not use Komando to publish illegal, defamatory, misleading, or harmful content. Komando reserves the right to terminate the account of any user who violates these rules.

You may delete your account at any time from the Settings section of the App. Upon deletion, your personal data will be removed in accordance with our Privacy Policy.

12 Disclaimer of Warranties

Komando is provided “as is” and “as available” without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied. We do not guarantee that the platform will be error-free, uninterrupted, or that collaborations will always result in satisfactory outcomes for either party.

We are not liable for the actions of Creators or Businesses on or off the platform, for content published on third-party social media, or for any disputes arising between users.

13 Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, Komando shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including but not limited to loss of revenue, loss of data, or loss of goodwill, arising out of or in connection with your use of the platform.

Our total aggregate liability shall not exceed the greater of the total fees paid by you in the twelve (12) months preceding the claim, or €100.

14 Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms of Service from time to time. We will notify you of significant changes through the App or by email. Your continued use of Komando after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.

15 In-App Communications

Komando provides an in-app messaging feature so Creators and Businesses can coordinate the details of a collaboration (visit time, content expectations, logistics, etc.).

While these conversations are intended to remain between the two parties, Komando may access, review, and retain the content of messages exchanged through this feature for purposes including customer support, dispute resolution between a Creator and a Business, fraud or abuse prevention, and enforcement of these Terms. By using Komando’s messaging feature, you acknowledge and agree to this access.

These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of France. Any disputes arising from these Terms or your use of Komando shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Paris, France. EU consumers may also bring proceedings in the courts of their country of residence.
