Terms of Service

Komando Pro — Last updated: 19 October 2026

Please read these Terms carefully before using the Komando Pro application. By accessing or using the App, you confirm that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Terms of Service and our End User License Agreement (EULA). If you do not agree, you must not use Komando Pro.

1 About Komando Pro

Komando Pro is the business-facing platform of Komando, on iPhone and on the web, for restaurants, hotels, bars, and other hospitality venues (“Businesses”) to manage collaboration opportunities with content creators. These Terms apply to both. The Apple clauses in the licence below apply to the iPhone app.

Use of Komando Pro is currently free for users. Komando does not charge a commission on a collaboration. Any fee for a paid collaboration is owed by the business to the creator. Komando records the agreement and does not collect, hold, or pay that fee.

Komando Pro is operated by Komando SAS, based in France. By accessing or using the App, you agree to these Terms and our Data Protection Policy.

2 End User License Agreement (EULA)

This section constitutes the End User License Agreement between you and Komando, as required by Apple’s App Store guidelines.

License Grant

Subject to your compliance with these Terms, Komando grants you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to download and use the App on any Apple-branded device that you own or control, solely for your internal business use, as permitted by the App Store Terms of Service.

Scope of License

You may not:

Apple as Third-Party Beneficiary

You acknowledge and agree that Apple, Inc. is a third-party beneficiary of this EULA and will have the right (and will be deemed to have accepted the right) to enforce this EULA against you as a third-party beneficiary thereof. Apple has no obligation whatsoever to furnish any maintenance or support services with respect to the App.

Maintenance and Support

Komando is solely responsible for providing maintenance and support for the App. Apple has no obligation to provide any such maintenance or support. Contact us at support@komando.app for any App-related support.

Product Claims

Komando, not Apple, is responsible for addressing any claims by you or any third party relating to the App or your possession and/or use of the App, including but not limited to: (i) product liability claims; (ii) any claim that the App fails to conform to any applicable legal or regulatory requirement; and (iii) claims arising under consumer protection or similar legislation.

Intellectual Property Infringement

In the event of any third-party claim that the App or your possession and use of the App infringes that third party’s intellectual property rights, Komando will be solely responsible for the investigation, defense, settlement, and discharge of such a claim.

3 Access & Eligibility

Komando Pro is an invite-only platform. Access is granted exclusively by the Komando team following a request and qualification process. You cannot self-register for a Komando Pro account.

To be eligible, you must:

Submitting a “Request Access” form does not guarantee access. Komando reserves the right to approve or reject any request at its sole discretion.

4 Account Creation & Credentials

Once your request is approved, Komando will create your account and send you temporary credentials by email. You are required to change your password upon first sign-in.

You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activity that occurs under your account. Notify us immediately at support@komando.app if you suspect unauthorised use.

You may not share one password between several people. Komando can create an additional sign-in, on that person’s own email, for someone your business authorises to manage the same venue. The role is owner or influencer manager. Removing that person’s access removes their sign-in to the venue.

5 Offers & Collaborations

Komando Pro allows your business to publish collaboration offers visible to vetted creators on the Komando platform. Komando facilitates, but is not a party to, individual collaborations.

Business obligations

Creator applications

By accepting a creator’s application, you enter into a collaboration agreement directly with that creator. Komando is not liable for the quality, quantity, or outcome of content produced by creators.

Content published for a collaboration must show the creator’s actual visit: several shots (food, the room or terrace, and the experience) and the creator’s voice (voice-over or talking to camera). A single clip of the venue with only a soundtrack does not meet this standard. You may refuse to verify content that does not meet it.

If a creator consumes goods or services as part of a collaboration and then fails to publish the agreed content, or publishes content that is harmful, defamatory, or otherwise negative toward your business, the creator agrees to pay you the full retail price of what was consumed. That payment is owed to you, not to Komando. Komando does not collect it.

6 Creator directory and paid collaborations

You can browse creators who have chosen to receive direct collaboration requests, and send a request from Komando Pro. The directory shows a short profile: first name, photo, Instagram handle, city, and whether their content is free or paid.

You propose the visit and, when the creator’s content is paid, a fee. You and the creator each confirm those terms in the conversation. Any fee is owed by your business to the creator. Komando records the agreement and does not collect, hold, or pay the fee.

7 Venue profile editing by Komando

Komando’s team may edit the public profile of a business we work with, including photos, description, and offers, solely to improve how that business is presented (clarity, framing, completeness, or accuracy). We will not change a business’s identity or commercial terms for any other purpose.

The business remains responsible for the information on its profile and may ask us to revert an edit by contacting support@komando.app.

8 Drop In Feature

The “Drop In” feature enables eligible creators to visit your venue without a prior booking by scanning or entering a 6-digit code. Your staff is responsible for validating the creator’s identity and eligibility before granting access. By activating Drop In for an offer, you accept that eligible creators may visit during your stated availability windows without prior confirmation.

9 Request Access Form

When you submit a “Request Access” form through the app or website, the information you provide (name, email, phone, business details) is used solely to evaluate your request and contact you. This data is processed under legitimate interest. See our Data Protection Policy for full details.

10 Prohibited Activities

When using Komando Pro, you agree not to:

11 Objectionable Content & Abusive Users

Zero Tolerance Policy. Komando has an absolute zero-tolerance policy for objectionable content and abusive behavior. Violations result in immediate, permanent account termination.

12 Suspension and Termination

Komando reserves the right to suspend or permanently terminate any account at any time, with or without prior notice, in cases of:

You may delete your account at any time from the Settings section of the App. Upon deletion, your data will be removed in accordance with our Data Protection Policy.

13 Disclaimer of Warranties

Komando Pro is provided “as is” and “as available” without warranties of any kind. We do not guarantee that collaborations will result in specific business outcomes, follower growth, or revenue. We are not liable for the quality, reach, or commercial impact of content published by creators.

14 Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, Komando shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including but not limited to loss of revenue, loss of data, or loss of goodwill, arising out of or in connection with your use of the platform.

Our total aggregate liability shall not exceed the greater of the total fees paid by you in the twelve (12) months preceding the claim, or €100.

15 Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. We will notify you of significant changes through the App or by email. Your continued use of Komando Pro after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.

16 In-App Communications

Komando Pro provides an in-app messaging feature so Businesses and Creators can coordinate the details of a collaboration (visit time, content expectations, logistics, etc.).

While these conversations are intended to remain between the two parties, Komando may access, review, and retain the content of messages exchanged through this feature for purposes including customer support, dispute resolution between a Business and a Creator, fraud or abuse prevention, and enforcement of these Terms. By using Komando’s messaging feature, you acknowledge and agree to this access.

17 Governing Law

These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of France. Any disputes arising from these Terms or your use of Komando Pro shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Paris, France.
